1. Staunton’s Wine Bar, Soho
It’s a rare occasion that you’ll pass by popular watering hole Staunton’s (pictured above) on a Sunday without spotting a pooch or two resting on the steps. 3. Opendoor Cafe & Courtyard, Sai Ying Pun
Delicious sandwiches. Check. Healthy juices. Check. Doggy cappuccino. Check. That’s right, quirky little Sai Ying Pun hangout Opendoor Cafe & Courtyard (pictured above) is barking mad about hounds, so much so that they’ve added a non-dairy drink to their menu for just $10. What could be more fun that watching your beloved canine pal bounce around in the waves as you sip on an ice cool beer from the comfort of your deck chair? Tucked away on the quiet Shek O back beach away from the crowds, Ben’s Back Beach Bar (pictured above) is a hidden gem for dog owners looking to make a splash and catch some rays. Health conscious dog owners will have all their boxes ticked at this Sai Ying Pun dining spot which offers a menu of vegan, dairy-free, nut-free, and carb-free dishes, as well as a nice spot outside for your pooch to take a well-deserved nap after walkies. 10. Delaney’s, Cyberport
Located in the peaceful suburb of Pok Fu Lam, near the spacious, open grass area of Cyberport Waterfront Park is popular Irish bar Delaney’s. This dog friendly hot spot is the ideal place to end a family day out with the pooch, who can enjoy beautiful views of the Lamma Channel on the outdoor Terrace Area. The pub offers a very generous happy hour from 4pm to 9pm and some delectable pub grub, but if you fancy something with a kick, it’s sister restaurant El Charro Mexican Cantina also offers outdoor seating so you can enjoy some spicy al fresco treats with your canine pal.
